Scott called me the other night, explained to me that he went to get paint prices quoted for the MK2, and decided to ask about the price of reflex silver as well. He came up with an answer of 65$ a quart for the silver stuff. is that a good price or should I hold off and go up to Leonards? Also what else would I need to get the job done other than paint and clear.

silvers an red will be the most expensive when it comes to paint...who makes the paint

Yeah actually my and lee were just discussing this in his garage about how we need the DEFINATE paint color. I know you said reflex silver but wanted to make sure. I am not sure if 65$ a quart is good or not to be honest, with oil prices changing daily, I am sure its gonna change the price of paint as well.

As for the guy above, I am not interested....Lee may be but I don't think I wanna tackle someone elses entire car when I don't even have the time to do what I wanna do to mine. Finding a place to paint a whole car is another story as well....Zach has two small bumpers. We are gonna get a pop up 10x10 tent this week and make our own little booth to spray them in the backyard.

yeah its definatly reflex silver I will get the paint code for you ASAP. I was just wondering so that I can buy the paint. Where exactly is leonards? I might be able to get up there sometime reasonably soon so that I can purchase the paint. What else would I be needing? Clear Coat? anything else?
